Academic Transfer

This page contains all the necessary information on the admissions procedures for the programs offered by Global University. In order to prevent mistakes in their applications, applicants should carefully read this page and the related material before preparing their applications.

Transfer Admission Requirements
  1. Students from other universities can apply for transfer to Global University. The Admission Committee meets regularly to study the transfer requests.
    Transfer applicants can be accepted at Global University if they meet the following requirements:
    1. Applicant is transferring from an accredited university.
    2. Applicant passes the EPT.
    3. Applicant submits the following:
      • Certified copy of the Lebanese BACC II certificate or equivalence.
      • Certified copy of previous university transcript.
      • Previous university course catalogue.
      • Course description of taken courses.
    4. Up to 49% of the total number of required major credits can be transferred.
    5. Minimum grade of any transferred course be 70.

Application Schedule for September Entry

There are three application periods.

Application period I
Application period: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 18 October through 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 29 November
Announcement of Results : 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 24 January 2020
Application period II
Application period: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 11 December through 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 29 January
Announcement of Results : 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 28 February 2020
Application period III
Application period: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 25 February through 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 7 April

Payment of Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of 50$. The periods for making this payment are as follows:

Application period I
10:00 a.m. on Friday, 18 October through 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 29 November
Application period II
10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 11 December through 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 29 January
Application period III
10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 25 February through 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 7 April

The application fee is not refundable. Applicants who re-apply during subsequent application periods are required to pay the application fee of 50$ each time they apply.

Announcement of Results

Once your application has fulfilled all of the requirements for it to be reviewed, you will receive an “Application Completed Notification E-mail” two weeks prior to the date of the announcement of results.

Screening results will be announced to you by phone or E-mail.
The university will not provide any information regarding results by any other means, including phone, fax, or e-mail. Queries concerning screening results will not be accepted.
